a4h privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-09-13
a4h (apps4habits) is an app for building habits. Each habit is a photo split into pieces, and every day you keep it you place one. It is made by apps4all, that is, José Carlos Gualde, tax ID 44000634R, address Josefina Mascareñas, 3, 08173 Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). For any question about your data, write to jcgualde@apps4all.app.
The short version
The app has no user account, asks for no sign-up and sends nothing to any server of ours. Everything you do in it is stored on your phone and only there.
What it stores and where
It stores the habits you create, the days you keep them, the photos you choose for them and your settings (reminder time, theme, game switches). All of that lives in the app's private folder on your phone. We do not see it and cannot see it.
If you use a photo of your own for a habit, the app keeps a cropped copy in that same private folder. It does not upload the photo anywhere. To pick it, it uses the Android photo picker, which does not give us access to the rest of your gallery.
Permissions
Just one: showing notifications, and only if you choose a reminder time. The reminder is scheduled by the phone itself; there is no server behind it. You can turn it off in Options or in Android settings at any time.
What it does not do
No analytics, no advertising. No tracking, no user identifiers, and we share nothing with third parties, because there is nothing to share.
Backups
In Options you can export your data to a file and keep it wherever you like (your email, your cloud, another phone). That file is yours and goes where you send it; we do not receive it.
Purchases
If you install the app from Google Play and buy the premium version, the payment is handled by Google Play under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not see your payment details.
Deleting your data
Delete a habit from within the app, or uninstall the app: all data goes with it, including any photos you added. Nothing remains anywhere else.
Your rights
Since we do not process your data, there is nothing to ask us to correct or delete: it is all on your phone. Still, if you have any question, write to jcgualde@apps4all.app. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
If the app changes and starts handling data differently, this page will change first, and we will say so in the app. The date above shows the latest version.
